The impact toughness value obtained from those parts of the samples used in our experiments was only about 4 9.035 kg/m~2. Based on an analysis of the reasons why the toughness is lowered there, a new approach to improve thermite welds is discussed. A phenomenon discovered in the experiments which has attracted our attention is that the a_k value of the samples from various parts of weld joints will reach 98.070 kg/m~2 if they are heated up to 900℃ and kept for twenty minuites at the same temperature, then cooled in the air. Therefore we come to a conclusion that the major factor for improving toughness of weld metal is the uniform distribution of its chemical conposition, and the major factor for improving toughness of a heataffectcd zone is the dimension of grains.

    本文对钢轨铝热焊焊接接头各部位的韧性进行了试验研究。试骏确定接头低韧性区为焊缝和近缝区,该部位的冲击韧性值约为49.035KJ/m~2左右。作者在分析其薄弱原因的基础上对改善焊接接头的韧性的途径进行探讨,并指出小试样试验中采用900℃保温20分钟空冷热处理,可使接头各部位的冲击值均达到98.070KJ/m~2以上,热处理过程中影响焊缝金属韧性的主要因素为化学成份均匀化,而影响热影响区韧性的主要因素为晶粒大小。

    In order to improve the quality of the thermite welding of rails, the pressure thermite welding process is studied. The results show that this process can make the weld with casting structure narrow, can produce some plastic deformation in base metal and much improve the impact toughness of joints. It is pointed out that this process, which can improve the quality of the thermite weld, fits in with the needs of welding rails on site.

    为了提高钢轨常规铝热焊的接头质量,作者对钢轨加压铝热焊工艺进行了试验研究.结果表明,这种工艺使铸态焊缝变窄,母材产生一定塑性变形,接头韧性大幅度提高,是既能保证接头质量又便于现场生产使用的一种工艺.
