An economical analysis of the cost of the sewage disposal are made in 15 hospitals. It is nacessary to consider the environmental benefit as well aseconomical result in sewage disposal. The processes which need less cost,simple technological design andconvonient manipulation are of course preferred.In comparision withthe other sterilization procedure,the liquid chlorine used in the cityhospitals has the advantages above-mentioned,because it is easy to useand popularize.

本文对南通市市区十五家医院污水处理经费作了经济分析。医院污水处理中,应使环境效益与经济效益相统一。宜选择投资少、工艺简单、操作方便、效果可靠、处理费用低廉的方法。氯化消毒与其它消毒方法比较,具有上述之优点,因而易于推广普及。

In this paper,the efficiency of different water purification equipment in removing organic mutagens from water was studied. Results showed that water purification process consisting mainly of coagulation,filtration and chlorination by the use of such purification equipment as dual-media contact filter,hydraulic cycling clarifier or pressure filter etc,could not remove organic mutagens from raw water,but on the contrary,the water purification process would yield direct mutagens in treated water.Biological filters...

In this paper,the efficiency of different water purification equipment in removing organic mutagens from water was studied. Results showed that water purification process consisting mainly of coagulation,filtration and chlorination by the use of such purification equipment as dual-media contact filter,hydraulic cycling clarifier or pressure filter etc,could not remove organic mutagens from raw water,but on the contrary,the water purification process would yield direct mutagens in treated water.Biological filters were not effective in removing mutagens while ozonation could remove mutagens from water by 40-60%.and biological activated carbon water purification equipment was very effective in removing mutagens.As groundwater is not likely to be polluted by organic mutagens,mutagenicity test showed negative results.

本文对在运转中几种类型净水设备去除水中有机致突变物效果进行了研究与比较。结果表明,其中基本上以混凝沉淀、砂滤、氯化消毒为主体的净水设备,如双层接触滤池、水力循环澄清池、压力滤池等,不但不能去除水中致突变物,而且还能形成一些直接致突变物;生物滤池没有去除效果;臭氧能使水的致突变性减少约40~60%;生物活性炭净水设备对去除水中致突变物质具有良好的效果;深层地下水较少或没有受到有机致突变物的污染,其致突变性测定结果为阴性。

Because of the formation of varieties of organic compounds many of which are mutagenic or carcinogenic, the impacts of water chlorination on the environment has become an important area of research in the last decade. This paper reviews the environmental effects of chlorination used for drinking water disinfection, and municipal wastewater treatment as well as for pulp bleaching process. The recent developments in research methods for the evaluation of toxicological effects of water chlorination products are also briefly discussed.

水氯化处理可导致众多有机物质的形成,其中不少具有致癌成致突变性。因此,近十多年来,水氯化处理对环境及人体健康的影响已经成为这项处理方法中的一个十分活跃的研究领域。本文就饮水氯化消毒、城市污水氯化处理及纸浆氧化漂白废水,所能引起的环境问题进行了讨论。对于水氯化产物毒性的研究方法,也扼要地做了叙述。
