The most distinct feature of the in-place deduction is that temporary or scrach-pad registers are not needed for inlermediate results, for the same set of input registers is used as output registers for holding the recursion results Therefore, it not only requires small memory size, but also reduces the computation efforts by getting rid of data transfer operation.

本文提出一种计算反射系数的高效公式——位内递推算法。新算法在线性预测分析的PARCOR基础上,利用滤波器内积的概念引入两个中间变量,使递推运算能够在位内进行。位内算法不仅节省了存储空间,更重要的是它减少了传送数据的操作,因此提高了运算效率。
