It is possible to minimize transpiration and maximize WUE by transforming different water transport path...

Abundant data about plant water transportation is analyzed being found that plant have a capable of regulating optimally water balance in molecular level, cell level, tissue and organs level. It is possible to minimize transpiration and maximize WUE by transforming different water transport path and enhancing the contribution of cell to cell pathway. It highlights the theoretical basic of biological watersaving. It is proposed that the combination of biological watersaving and engineering watersaving is an important method to significantly improve water use efficiency in practice.

对近年来国内外有关植物水分传输的研究综合分析表明,从分子、细胞、组织和器官水平上,植物存在优化调控水分平衡的潜在能力,通过转换植物体内的水分传输途径,增加细胞到细胞途径的贡献,能够降低蒸腾、提高水分利用效率.这些新的结论和观点为我国正在兴起的生物节水技术提供了重要的理论依据.在节水农业实践中将生物节水和工程节水有效的结合起来是大幅度提高水资源利用效率的一条重要途径.

An experiment using pressure chamber and mercuric chloride (HgCl2)an inhibitor of aquaporins (water channels) was conducted to evaluate the activities of water channels in sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) root systems of different ages (15 d?25 d and 35 d).The results showed that root hydraulic conductivity (Lpr) maintained constant over the experiment period.Addition of 0.1 mmol/L HgCl2 to rootbathing solution caused a rapid reduction in both water flux rate (Jv) and Lpr of all ages of seedling.But...

An experiment using pressure chamber and mercuric chloride (HgCl2)an inhibitor of aquaporins (water channels) was conducted to evaluate the activities of water channels in sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) root systems of different ages (15 d?25 d and 35 d).The results showed that root hydraulic conductivity (Lpr) maintained constant over the experiment period.Addition of 0.1 mmol/L HgCl2 to rootbathing solution caused a rapid reduction in both water flux rate (Jv) and Lpr of all ages of seedling.But the degrees of reduction differed,increasing during seedling development.The reduction in both Jv and Lpr by HgCl2 indicated that not only aquaporins could be involved in the regulation of water flow across sunflower roots but that the older root system has greater water channel activities than the younger.It is concluded that water channel activity in celltocell pathway increased with increasing seedling age,which reflects a compensatory mechanism for the loss of Lpr resulting from decreased apoplastic conductance in old root segments and hence,maintaining root system hydraulic conductivity relatively constant.

The stability in all three types of models is studied. It is shown that the ODE model is globally stable and the DDE model is absolute in stability and the model with distributed delay exhibits Hopf bifurcation by using the average delay as a bifurcation parameter. The results indicate that in the insufficiently-mixed system more constrains are imposed on parameters to ensure the behaviors in well-mixed system.

研究了一类二维比率依赖模型,它描述了在组织培养皿未充分混合的情况下HIV 1的细胞到细胞的传播,并且假设感染是直接从感染细胞到健康细胞忽略了自由病毒的影响,本文研究了三类模型的稳定性:常微分方程模型的全局渐近稳定性,离散时滞微分方程模型的绝对稳定性及具有分布时滞的模型的Hopf分支.
