In this paper, the measurement of the thermal e. m. f. in drilling process is investigated and tested. The simple and reliable method to measure the thermal e. m. f. on drilling machines is presented. This method was used in the experiment to survey the thermoelec-phenomena in drilling process, and the relationships of thermal e. m. f. with cutting speed, feed rate, depth of drilling and number of drilled holes have been got.

探地雷达是利用超高频脉冲电磁波深测地下介质分布的一种地球物理勘探方法,由于其高效快捷、高分辨率等特征,在浅层与超浅层地质调查中应用越来越广泛。本文以苏丹喀土穆炼油厂区勘察为例,介绍探地雷达在大面积场区岩土工程勘察中的应用,本次勘察目的是详细查明厂区岩土层分布、进行基岩风化带的划分、查明场区构造破碎带发育状况。由于采用了地质雷达探测,钻孔数由原先的500多个孔减少到了63个,工期由原来的6个月缩短为1个半月,大大缩短了勘察周期,节省了勘察经费,尤其对涉外工程,大大降低了间接费用。
