The poor performance of serial communication has been an issue in the industry for a while,and FT245BM chip can exchange the protocols between USB ports and parallel ports. This papers introduces the basic principles and functions of the FT245BM chip, and also presents the application design based on FT245BM interface circuit, the assembler based on 89C52, and the source code of c51 single chip microprocessor.
In this method,on the basis of RS232 serial communication agreement,API function of VC++6.0 and assemble language are used in the serial communication system,and the data collection is realized of single chip computer and serial communication between PC and single chip computer.
This paper describes the design of portable USB mass storage devices in the embedded system based on Intel PAX255 and ARM-Linux,and analyzes in detail the framework of the Linux device driver of the USB device module in PXA255. By using the block device provided by the MTD of Linux and the protocol on USB Mass Storage Class, we achieve the USB portable storage device in this system.

This paper describes the problems involved in TMS320C6x's boot loader,flash burn etc. The author analyzes the protocol of COFF/Hex covert and discusses the flash burn and boot loader shortages provided by TI.
A mass storage device driver is realized based on the protocol stack,the software is debugged in the hardware platform of TMS320DM642+SL811HS,with FAT32 file system,it can write/read the files in USB harddisk successfully.
