In this paper,by establishing a overall corrosion model for metallic materials in flowing seawater,flow induced corrosion of two metals were studied with aid of Simulation test method using Delphi language.
Thus,it is showed that the established overall corrosion model is correct,and the developed simulation software of loop and the rotating disk experimental apparatus are scientific and reasonable,which can be used to study materials flow induced corrosion,especially,in high flow velocity. Simulation could well be an alternative of the corrosion test in high flow velocity condition,and upgrades the research to a new level.

The effect of Cr or Ta added to metals by ion beam surface metallurgy on their corrosion behavior has been systematically discussed in terms of the alloy components,structure,defects,essential properties of alloy elements and the surface contamination.A synthetic model of the corrosion resistance for these surface alloys has been suggested.A better corrosion resistance mechanism is proposed.
