Two different eluenst, eluent A(1mol/L NaOH) and eluent B(0.15mol/L NaOH), and a gold electrode pulsed amperometric detector are used. Carbohydrates in wine and tangerines are analyzed. The results show that the gradient elution is more sensitive and needs shorter time than isocratic...

The simultaneous determination of monoprotic organic acids and carbohydrates by ion chromatography with conductmetric and pulsed amperometric deteetion is described respectively. Mannitol, arabinose, glucose, fructose, lactose, sucrose, raffinose, maltose and lactic, glycolis, formic, pyruvic acids were separated within twelve minutes with 0. 080 mol/L sodium hydroxide as the eluent. The method has been used to analyze the above components in beverages.

Capillary electrophoresis (CE) with Amperometric detection is reviewed with 35 references. A key developing area in CE is detection. Amperometry is one among the most sensitive techniques for CE. Off-column and end-column are two kinds of Amperometric detection. Recently, pulse Amperometry and chemically modified electrode have been used in capillary electrophoresis/electrochemical detection.
