Potential spatial patterns, which are called security patterns (SP),exisit in landscapes.They are composed of strategic portions and positions of a landscape which have critical significance in safeguarding and controlling certain ecological processes.To a certain process, components of the security patterns have the advantages of being initiative, coordinative and efficient. Therefore, thay are strategically important in biological conseravtion and landscape change. Species movement and maintenance are taken as processes of control in a landscape that occur at the expense of overcoming landscape resistance. A resistance surface (accessibility surface)represents the dynamics of species movement. SP can be identifid according to the properties on a general surface of flows. Four strategic landscape portions and positions are identified on a potential surface: buffer zones, inter source linkages, radiating routes and strategic points. These components are associated with the threshold type quality of the dynamics of the process, together with the identified sources (native habitats), and compose the ecological SP at various security levels. It demonstrates the relationship between the spatial properties of a general surface model discussed in theoretical geography and the landscape representation model used in landscape ecology and conservation biology. SP could be used as comparatively effective spatial strategies in safeguarding the ecological processes.

The ecosystem change of external forcing, course system, system output of ecosystem in the frame of conception model of the migrants resettled area in Three Gorges reservoir area is analyzed. In typical watershed, Quxi watershed, the result of external forcing, submerge and migrant, is the resource change of slope cultivated lands, economical forest, vegetation, water, habitant etc. of the ecosystem, and the changes of demand for food supplies, energy resource and education. By the action of feedback mechanism, the system outputs are soil and water loss pricking up, biological diversity being destroyed, heavily soil degrading etc.. And then brings forward some countermeasures such as developing watershed management, resuming and rebuilding mountainous region ecosystem, strengthening research on reforestation countermeasure, to ease up the conflict between human and land and achieve the sustainable development.

以三峡库区移民区生态系统的概念模型为框架 ,分析了三峡库区生态系统的驱动力—过程系统—系统输出各个环节的变化。移民区典型小流域——曲溪小流域 ,受淹没、移民 2个驱动力的作用 ,耕地、经济林、植被、水、栖息地等资源发生了显著变化 ,系统的粮食、能源、教育需求也随之而变 ,在内在反馈机制的作用下 ,导致系统输出为水土流失加剧、生物多样性受到破坏、土地退化严重等。通过对系统模型进行分析 ,提出开展小流域综合治理 ,恢复和重建山地生态系统 ,加强坡耕地退耕还林对策研究等生态环境对策 ,以此缓和人地矛盾 ,实现系统的可持续发展。

In the immigrant settlement area of Three Gorges reservoir region in Xingshan County, Hubei Province,the ecological problems were the restoration of degraded ecosystem, rehabilitation of degraded crop land, and reconstruction of towns and villages. The key to the construction of the settlement area was reassigning the way of land use. The major aim of restoration of natural ecosystems should be to improve water conservation capacity of the land,because this area is located in the catchment of the Xiangxi River....

In the immigrant settlement area of Three Gorges reservoir region in Xingshan County, Hubei Province,the ecological problems were the restoration of degraded ecosystem, rehabilitation of degraded crop land, and reconstruction of towns and villages. The key to the construction of the settlement area was reassigning the way of land use. The major aim of restoration of natural ecosystems should be to improve water conservation capacity of the land,because this area is located in the catchment of the Xiangxi River. The goals of management were determined as the coordinated development of both agricultural and natural forest ecosystems,the maintenance and increase of water conservation capacity of ecosystems,and the maintenance and extension of wildlife habitats.For the purpose of effective ecosystem management, the area was classified into four divisions of functional conservation region, functional rehabilitation, natural reserves and natural maintenance. The ecosystem management of the settlement area in Xingshan County was implemented in every land cell,using GIS and the typical grid square survey method.The approach of multi objects optimal spatial plan was developed in this paper,in which,special emphasis was put on the ecological, economic and social benefits in the construction of towns and villages. According to the scheme of management,the cover of forest in the settlement area,would increase by 30.19%, and water conservation capacity of the ecosystems would raise by 38.7%.

为了安置三峡工程的移民 ,湖北省兴山县形成了移民安置区 .天然林地的恢复和农田、城镇及村落的重建是安置区所面临的问题 .移民安置区内生态系统管理的核心问题是原有土地使用方式的重新配置 .提出农用土地生态系统与天然林生态系统协同发展 ,维持或提高生态系统水土保持能力 ,维持或扩大野生动物栖息地的生态系统管理目标 .通过划分功能保育区、功能改建区、自然保育区和自然维持区来实现管理目标 .安置区内生态系统管理是以地块为基本操作单位 ,通过地理信息系统和栅格化地图的方法实现的 .另外 ,提出多目标最佳空间规划的方法 ,该方法兼顾了土地利用格局中生态、经济和社会诸方面利益 .这一方法被用于安置区内城镇和村落格局的设计中 .根据本文提出的管理方案 ,安置区内林地面积可以增加 30 .19% ,生态系统水土保持能力可以提高 38.7% .
