According to the law of fatigue crack propagation and mathematical theory, a mathematical model of total process of fatigue crack propagation has been deduced as follows:where,Verified by experimental data of six materials and compared with the models proposed before, it can be shown that this model is better than others, which has better applicability and higher precision. By applying this model, a computer simulation, predictions and controls were performed. Moreover, a new method of computing (da/dN)i and the mathematical methods of determining △Kth,△KI,△KIIand KC have been proposed. The results were satisfactory. By use of computer, a program system of fatigue crack propagation - FAMMAP, has been developed. In comparison with the program systems developed before, FAMMAP has the advantages of more functions, standardization and simplicity of use, etc.

The formulas for calculating cross-entropy from autocorrelationmatrices or power spectra and the equations for estimating continuous MCEspectrun, whose discrete approximation is Shore's MCE Spectrum, fromprior spectrum and new information in the form of constraints onautocorrelation lags are derived. The formulas for calculating cross-entropy from autocorrelationmatrices or power spectra and the equations for estimating continuous MCEspectrun, whose discrete approximation is Shore's MCE Spectrum, fromprior spectrum and new information in the form of constraints onautocorrelation lags are derived. It is proved that MCE spectrum is MEspectrum with additional constraints on its AR coefficients, and that MEspectrum equals MCE spectrum when the order of prior spectrum is lessthan or equal to the number of given autocorrelation lags. Then, based on these discussions, a new fast algorithm for MCEspectral estimation is developed. Instead of resolving nonlinear equations,ME spectra are computed recursively, crossly and order by order, whichapproximate prior spectrum and posterior spectrum. Thus, it not onlycontinues to have MEM's computational efficiency, but also uses rathervaluable prior information. In other words, it extends MEM to thecomputation of MCE spectrum. Finally, the results of computer simulation are demonstrated, andthey are found to be in agreement favorably with the theoretical ones.

Energy consumption of grinding operation is about 50% of all energy consumption in the factory. Saving energy in grinding operation must be a main part in decreasing energy consumption in the factory. Develop new high efficient grinding mill; (e). Strengthen the analysis and administration of energy consumption; (f). Make scientific research on new crushing methods and new equipments of saving energy.
