The study in this paper shows that in order to obtain high quality sinter, it is necessary to properly control the moisture content in blends and carefully granulate the blends for obtaining appropriate granularity in which the particle size of dolomite should be as small as possible. It is favourable that the proportion of dolomite with particle size greater than 3 mm is less than 5%. It is also necessary to reduce the dolomite content of the blends to half as many as that adopted in 1989.
