It is by the liquid and solid two phase flow theory that this article brings forward not only a calculating method of the maximum discharge which can prevent cavitation in dredging slush pumps and their pipeline systems, but also a calculating method of the minimum discharge which can minimize the loss of the pump pipeline systems and ensure the stability of the operation of the systems. The authors of this article also tell how to determine the operation parameters of the slush pump systems under the condition of the rated horsepower of the main motors. Calculations of a few cases show that the theoretical values derived by using the formulae given in this article are approximate to the experimental data. From the calculation data, diagrams are made, which are convenient to use and would be helpful to the search of reliability and effectiveness of slush pump systems.

本文按照液固二相流动理论,提供了避免疏浚泥泵及其管路系统发生气蚀损坏的最大流量的计算方法;提出了既保证泥泵管路系统损失最小、又确保系统工作稳定性的最小流量的计算方法;在主机额定功率下确定泥泵系统的运行参数的方法和计算图表。通过实例计算,按本文公式计算结果与实际相符。计算结果绘制成曲线图,查用方便。为泥泵系统运行的可靠性和经济性提供了依据和计算方法。
