The floatation density and the volume filling fraction of the fibrils of PA prepared with naphthenates of fifteen rare-earth elements and triisobutyl aluminium range from 1.15 to 1.25 ( g/cm3 ) and from 0.11 to 0.22, respectively.

Aliphatic groups diminish rapidly owing to the oxidative reaction and almost disappear at 420℃.The alkyl side-chain breakage occurs mainly at C_α-C_β bond Position when the sample pyrolysis in nitrogen stream. The thermal dealkylation proceeds more slowly than the oxidation of the alkyl groups. All oxygencontaining groups decompose in the thermal pyrolysis but phenolic hydroxyl group remains unchanged. The formation and accumulation of carboxyl group begin at relatively low temperature, it tends to dissociate at 350℃.
