We considered that some evidences for this turbidite type can be given as the following: 1. In the mudstones, the main clay minerals possess of worse dire- ctionality, and the others exhibit parallel structures, which way be related to turbulent disturbance. 2. These sandstones and mudstones include less kaolinite. They are non autochthonous, and might be brought by high-speed turbidite into the deep sea and accumulated quickly. 3. The main clay minerals assemblage of these marine turbidite rocks is composed of illite, chlorite, kaolinite and montmorillonite. 4. These sandstones and mudstones include considerable illite clays of autochthonous and allochthonous origin. Some parts of them pre- serve clearer clastic trace, and show that they were in an early staga of diagenesis. They are possibly concerned in quick accumulation and in worse porosity and permeability of these rocks.

Two distinct cooling processes took place during 50 ̄60 Ma and 20 ̄30 Ma respectly,and the cooling during 20 ̄30Ma was resulted from the uplift and erosion of the depressionin the end of Dongying Formation,and the estimated thickness of the uplift and erosionamounts to more than 200 m. The depth of apatite fission tracks annealing zone ranges from2 000 m to 3 400 m,which is well consistent with the depth of oil generation window.At thesame time,the rapid increase of recent temperature due to burial depth led to the high temperature range of the annealing zone.

The most important of these characteristics include: short-term bury of Shahejie sandstones at present depths; overpressure fluid development during the quick bury; hydrocarbon fluid intrusion prior to distinctive reduction of sandstones porosity; sporadic carbonate cementation; and inhabitation of quartz pressure solution. The preservation and development of porosity in the deeply buried sandstones are closely related to the interactions between different diagenetic dynamic processes and porosity evolution.
