The study showed the correctness of the combustion process model and the modified flame propagation formula can be used to simulate the performance of gasoline rotary engine.
The curve of the engine power and efficient fuel consumption ratio that change with the volume of rotor recess has been drawn. and rotary combustion engine performance influenced by the volume has been studied. Compared with the results of the reference,it is shown that the calculation method can be used as an analytical tool for the preliminary designed development of gas rotary combustion engine recess.
