Combining the South 2nd-phase project of Zhanjiang Port District Ⅰ, from the two aspects including site test and limit-element calculation, analysis is carried out to the force pattern acted on the sloping pile and its pile cap under the load of rubble filling of bank slope and back filling of wharf. The reason of damage of bank-side sloping pile is expounded.
