In this paper, the historical periods and the main experiences of petro-geophysical prospecting by Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources of China since 1955 were reviewed in retrospect and summed up to the point. Special attentions were paid to the following aspects: the important roles of geophysical activities in oil/gas reconnaissence and exploration, the correct handling of relationships in length and breadth, the full account of the basic scientific research and the accumulation of the essential technique...

In this paper, the historical periods and the main experiences of petro-geophysical prospecting by Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources of China since 1955 were reviewed in retrospect and summed up to the point. Special attentions were paid to the following aspects: the important roles of geophysical activities in oil/gas reconnaissence and exploration, the correct handling of relationships in length and breadth, the full account of the basic scientific research and the accumulation of the essential technique know-how as well as the reliance in the progress of science and technology etc.All of these are the author's understanding and comprehension. Prospects for the forth coming 5-years of the 1980's were outlined on what has been mentioned above. In accordance with the present state of regional surveying and the trends of technique development, both the tasks to be faced with and the aims to strive for have been put forward by the author.

本文扼要地回顾和总结了1955年以来地质部门石油物探工作的历史发展阶段和基本经验。着重谈了作者对地球物理勘探工作在油气普查勘探中的重要作用;正确处理好“纵向”和“横向”关系;以及要重视基础技术的研究和积累,积极依靠科技进步等问题的认识和体会。在此基础上提出了八十年代后五年石油物探发展前景的展望。作者从地区勘探形势的分析和方法技术发展的动向两个方面指出了当前面临的任务和应该努力的方向。
