It was observed also that human serum albumin,histidine and some chelating agents such as EDTA, 8-hydroxyquinoline and o-phenanthroline, raised the activity of the reconstituted succinate oxidase system under low phosphate concentration to a level comparable with that under high phosphate concentration without affecting the K_m value. Under appropriate conditions,exogenous cytochrome c has been in corporated into cytochrome c-deficient heart muscle preparation and thus made resistant to KCN inactivation.

The optimal concentration of it is about 2 mg 1~(-1) (Fig. 1 A).3. A concentration of coumarin higher than 200 mg 1~(-1) will depress the regeneration of cell wall, and also inhibit the growth of the cell (Fig. 1 B).4. A concentration of triiodobenzoic acid higher than 20 mg 1~(-1) will depress the regeneration of cell wall, and also inhibit the growth of the cell (Fig. 1 C).5. ABA does not inhibit the regeneration of the cell wall, but promotes the budding of the cell (Fig. 1 D, 2, Tab. 3).6. GA_3 at 50 mg 1~(-1) does not effect the regeneration of the cell wall, but promote the growth of the cell; at 100 mg 1~(-1), it will inhibit the regeneration of cell wall and the growth of cell (Tab. 4).The effects of these growth substances on the regeneration of the cell wall are discussed.

Four kinds of commonly used injections and four refined components of the tranditional Chinese medicinals as well as one synthetic remedy, CMS or 404, have been studied for the immunoregulatory effects by using in vitro antibody cresponse system of Mishell and Button and by direct hemolytic plaque assay of Jerne. The results showed that among the injection remedies, 0.05-5% Baphica-canthes cusia, Brenk, and Leonurus heterophyllus, sweet, had immunosuppressive effects with little effect on cell viability, while 0.0005% of the former remedy showed immunopotentiation; 0.05-5% salvia miliorrhiza,Bge, had immunosuppresive effect with greater inhibitory effect on cell viability; Gentiana scabra, Bge, had weaker immunosuppressive effect (0.5-5%) with stronger inhibitory effect on cell viability. Among refined components, 0. 1μg/ml of Mangiferin showed immunosuppres-sion with no action on cell viability. Both Emodin monoglucoside and paeonol had weaker immunosuppressive effect (50-100μg/ml) and markedly affected cell viability; Acanthopanax senticosus polysaccharide (PES) showed immunosuppression in higher concentration (500μg/ml) and marked immunopotentiation at lower concentration (0.01-100μg/ml) with no effect on cell viability. A synthetic remedy, carboxymethylated starch (CMS or 404) had markedly immunopotentiating effect at 0.01-500μg/ml with no harmful effect on cell viability. The experiment revealed that in order to induce antibody in vitro, the adherent cells were necessary. Discussions have been made on the role of adherent cells in helping antibody response in vitro, and an evaluation on the advantages and disadvantages of the in vitro tests used for study of immunoregulatory drugs.

采用体外抗体应答系统及溶血空斑检测技术研究了4种常用的中药注射液、4种有代表性的提纯中药成分及一种化学合成药——羧甲基淀粉(CMS,代号404)—的免疫调节效用。结果证明,>0.05%的板兰根及益母草注射液有免疫抑制效用,而0.0005%板兰根有免疫增强作用,皆较小影响细胞活力;>0.05%丹参虽有免疫抑制作用,但影响细胞活力也较著;龙胆草的免疫抑制作用较弱,且影响细胞活力也较著。在提纯的中药中,芒果甙(0.1μg/ml)有免疫抑制效用而不影响细胞活力;大黄素葡萄糖苷及丹皮酚的免疫抑制皆较弱,且影响细胞活力;刺五加多糖(PES)在高浓度时有免疫抑制效用,而在低浓度时则有显著免疫增强作用,並不影响细胞活力。羧基甲淀粉在0.01~500μg/ml中皆有显著免疫增强作用而不影响细胞活力。此实验还证明体外诱生抗体必须有粘附细胞参与。文内讨论了此法适用性及优缺点。
