X-ray developing fibers have been prepared by melt spinning with polyurethane as matrix and BaSO_4 particle as developing agent in which the grain size is 0.5-5 μm, and its structure and properties are studied. The results show that a concrete structure presents with increasing of BaSO_4 content;
Using melt spinning technology,polyurethane/polyvinylidene fluoride(PU/PVDF) blend was spun into hollow fiber membranes with interfacial micro-voids. The miscibility of PU and PVDF was analyzed.

A series of new type of elastic fibers formed of poly(ester amides) and poly(tetramethy lene ether)glycol segments are made from the melt- spinning.The influence of composition,stress and annealling on the crystallizaion is investigated by x-Ray diffraction and differential ther- mal analysis.The results especially the formation of two crystallization- peaks are discused in view of the phase seperation and the sequence distribution statistics for finite chain length.
