Based on 3-D high-precision seismic data in northwest part of Be'er sag, Haila'er basin and through analyses of seismic attributes in time and frequency domains, the paper studied the variation and distributing law of channel sand bodies and summarized a set of approaches using seismic attributes in time and frequency domains to identify the palaeochannel.
