Meanwhile, section oftissues was stained in bacteriology. On the basis of bacteriological iden-tification and examination, and then pathomorphological changes ofpseudotuberlated diseased were investigated in 24 naturally infected rab-bits. Macroscopically, there are specific creamy--like or cheesy--like nec-rotic miliary nodules which are varied in amount, on the surface ofappendix, sacculus rotundus, mesenteric lymph nodes, spleen, and liver.The levels in swelling and hardening are different. There are two kindsof specific nodules in histopathologic changes. Onc is productive whichconsists of macrophages, epithelioid cell and lymphocyte, i. e. simplegranulation: another is alterative in which the central portion ischeesy--like necrosis. Around necrotic area there are macrophages, epit-helioid cell, lymphocytes and a few fibroblasts. Occasionally, polynuc-lear giant cell occurs on the edge ot necrotic area, i. e. compoundgranulation. The morphology of nodules is different from each other.Firstly, the form and size different. Some are round or elliptical. Otherspolygonal. Some are so tiny that they can only be seen through miero-scope, some can be seen with the naked eye. Secondly, the productivenodule is an accumulatiotl of productive cells, therefore it's layrersare not clear, and neither are alterative nodu1es, a space of necroticsubstance instead. Especially when serious pathologic changes coustant-ly occur. in this case, the whole appendix and sacculus rotundus arefilled with cheesy--like necrosis so that their primitive construclionwas destroyed. Thirdly, morphology of polynuclear giant cell differsfrom that of Langhan's giant cell. The majority of the former are irre-gulal, in nuclear arrangement, but of the latter are regular. In the pre-sent paper differential diagnosis was also discussed among the pseudo--tuberculosis, tuberculosis and coccidiosis of rabbits.

The aortae of young columba livia domestica fed cholesterol and lard were studied by light and electron microscope. The birds were sacrificed in different intervals. After 2 weeks on the atherogenic diet, the early lesions were found. With the time of cholesterol feeding increased the lesions became severer. As the Columba livia domestica has the advantages of good supply, an accurately controllable dose, early and effectively induced atherosclerosis, it is reasonable to be considered that this race of pigeon may be used as a relatively desirable model of experimental atherosclerosis.

本文研究了从RSP-2·P3细胞系与正常人尿申分离纯化的两类集落刺激因子(RSP-2·P3-CSF与HU-CSF)的生物学特性。从集落生成的动态分析结果表明,这两类CSF的生物学活性是不均一的。在小鼠骨髓细胞的体外琼脂培养条件下,RSP-2·P3-CSF主要刺激粒系祖细胞(G-CFC)与粒-巨噬系祖细胞(GM-CFC)的增殖并生成由粒细胞(G-CFUc)或粒与巨噬细胞混合组成的集落(GM-CFUc);随着培养时间的延长,G-CFUc逐渐退化、消失,GM-CFUc则由最初主要为粒细胞组成逐渐过渡到粒与巨噬细胞的混合组成,最后生成由巨噬细胞组成的集落。然而,HU-CSF则主要刺激GM-CFC与巨噬系祖细胞(M-CFC)的增殖并生成相应的集落,随着体外培养时间的延长和HU-CSF浓度的增加,则巨噬细胞集落的比例急剧增高。
