The functional variable for the rate of grating formation has been corrected by taking into account of intensity-dependent absorption coefficient of the crystal. The fitted values of the dark conductivity σd and the charge transport parameter φμτ have been obtained to be 1. 0 × 10-11 (Ωcm)-1 and 2. 8 × 10-11 cm2/V, respectively.

With the help of I H model and Y T model, the luminescence decay curve of 3H 4 of Tm 3+ was fitted, and the fitted values of corresponding energy transfer interaction parameter C DA and energy migration interaction parameter C DD were calculated.

Positron lifetime measturements at room temperature have been performed for fullerite of C60/C70,C60(99.9%)and C70(97%). It has been found that the spectra for C60/C70 and C60 hairs one component lifetime of 388 ps and 379 ps respectively,and the C70 spectrum has two components with lifetimes of 258 ps and 410 ps,respectively.

With fitted energy level values, corresponding transition wavelengthes and HFR theoretical oscillator srtengthes for each spectral line are calculated.

Using the best-fitted values of parameters in the Hamiltonian, we have calculated energy levels and B(E2) values for a number of transitions in some doubly even Nd nuclei of 128 ? N ? 140.

The following experimental phenomena show that there would be exciton transfer between different luminescent centres in GaP:N. (1) With the increase cf temperature from 20K to 60K, the emission intensity of higher energy band (18760cm-1-18280cm-1) decreases rapidly, while that of lower energy band (17640cm-1 -17050cm-1) increases. However, the total intensity of all luminescent lines decreases slowly when the temperature increases from 20K to 60K, and decreases rapidly when T exceeds 60K. (2) As the temperature is raised from 20K to 60K, for the deeper binding centres (e.g. NN1,NN3) the emission intensity increases appreciably, (3) The NN1 line and its phonon sidebands have been observed under A line exciting. This selective excitation experiment shows that at 77K there is exciton transfer from the isolated N to the NN1 pair.In the range of 20-120K, the exciton transfer is mainly the transfer produced by re-distribution of excitons due to thermal ionization of shallower bound excitons. The exciton transfer proceeds on the sequence of A→NN6→NN5→NN4→NN3→NN1 with the increase of temperature.Using above band gap excitation, because of the exciton transfer there is error of the activation energy (E), which is acquired from fitting experimental data to the formulaTo be specific, for deeper binding centres, which receive excitons from other centres, the exciton transfer causes E to increase.Considering the influence of exciton transfer on the thermal quenching, A line and NN6 line are found to be thermal quenched by the escape of excitons, so their activation energy would be equal to the binding energy of exciton. However, for NN1, NN3 lines, the luminescence is quenched by the escape of hole, so their activation energy would be equal to the ionization energy of hole (i.e.40meV). For NN6, NN4 lines, because the fitting data of their activation energy clcse both to the binding energy of exciton and to the ionization energy of hole, it is difficult to judge their thermal quenching mechanism.
