numerical simulation was performed for the natural convection from arrays of vertically separated horizontal cylinders in an infinite space with 2,4,6 tubes,number range from 102 to 104,/ =1.25,2,3,5,9,11,=0.7 and the flow is laminar.
Results show that for the single structure, the natural convection is appeared respectively in the ballast with the diameters of 2–4 cm, 4–6 cm, 6–8 cm and 10– 15 cm, among which the ballast with diameter of 4–6 cm provides the best cooling effect.
