Bradykinesia(100%),rigidity(100%),resting tremor (85.7%),postural instability(60.7%),hyperreflexia(53.6%),dystonia(32.1%) and diurnal fluctuations with sleep benefit(89.2%) were the cardinal symptoms.
Results All the symptoms of PD were significantly improved after operation,the improvement rate of main symptoms of the second operation were 95.3% (tremor),94.6% (rigidity),82.9% (bradykinesia),62.4% (gait),65.3% ,(balance)96.4%,and the total efficiency was 97.2%.
ResultsThe outcome of operation was excellent. The rate of improvement for several typical symptoms were: tremor 98.0%, rigidity 87.0%, gait 71.8%, balance 69.7% and bradykinesia 37.8%.
The rate of improvement for tremor, rigidity, gait, balance and bradykinesia were 98 0%, 89 0%, 72 8%, 70 5% and 47 8% respectively. Postoperative motor UPDRS scores of both "on"/"off"states significantly decreased by 54 4% and 62 6% respectively.
The scores of rigidity and bradykinesia, but not tremor and age, were correlated with reduced DAT bindings in ipsi-, contra- and bilateral striatum regions (r was -0.782 and -0.83 respectively,all P<0.01).
Results There were 32(42 7%)patients with PD who had depression,simultaneously 24 patients had abnormal intelligence,and these patients mainly showed movement retardation and paramyotonus;
Result:54cases(64.3%)presented the manifestation of Anoxic brain damage. Among them bradypraxia and less verbal communication were the most common syndrome(92.6%),others included emotional disorder(46.3%),depression or anxiety(40.7%),conscious disturbance(22.2%),cognitive dysfunction(9.3%)and convulsion(1.9%).
Result Obvious relief of tremor and rigidity was 98.6% (565/573),distinct relief of akinesia was 90.0%(516/573),which improved the life quality of post operation patient clearly.
Results Onset age of 2 Chinese AR-JP patients is young, periods of disease is long, clinical manifestion include: resting tremor, rigidity, bradyskinesias, distablity,a good response to levodopa, but early levodopa induced symptom fluctuation;
Bradykinesia in Parkinsonian patients was evaluated before and after infusions of l-Dopa, by means of mechanographic and electromyographic recordings of a rapid voluntary flexion movement of the forearm.
Both compounds were useful in the management of patients with advanced Parkinson's disease, CU 32-085 having a stronger effect on tremor, bradykinesia, fluctuations and 'on-off' effects than bromocriptine.
Thirty-one patients who underwent the stereotactic placement of lesion in the ventroposterior-lateral globus pallidus for Parkinson’s tremor between Jun 1993 and Mar 1995 are described. candidates for surgery were selected on the basis of Matsumoto scale, their ages at time of the suegery were 39 to 70 years history lasting 2-11 years.Electrophysiological monitoring during stereotactic procedures was done, 8 of the 31 patients were globus pallidus lesion with ventrolateral thalamotomy,Thirthy-one patients b...
A single factor experiment of six levels, using ascorbate 2 sulfate to replace Vitamin C in diet for black carp fingerling, was designed to study the absorption and utilization of the acid by black carp. After three months rearing, it was found that all testing fish showed symptoms of Vc deficienecy after 2 weeks, i.e. lethargy, anorexia, scoliosis, lordosis and hemorrhages in muscle, skin, mouth, etc. The contents of Vc in brain, skin, muscle, liver and kidney were measured periodically and the data...
The toxic symptoms and pathological changes of visceral of the female mouse treated with mercuric chloride by abdomen injection was observed.The results showed that the toxic degree of mecuric chloride correlated positively with the exposure doses.The typical symptoms are :diarrhea,excreta increasing,capacity for eating lessening,moving slowly,livers being erosion,kidney being dropsical,visceral adhering,estrus decreasing.
