Planted in the paddy field, their physiological metabolism, the chlorophyll content in the leaves and the rate of photosynthesis all enhanced, while the rate of grain filling in later stage and the number of effective panicles increased. This practice played a remarkable role in increasing rice yield in xinyang Rigion.
