Objective: To investigate the relationship between two HTR1D gene polymorphisms, that is 1350T>C and 1236A>G polymorphisms, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) comorbid or not comorbid disruptive behavior disorder (DBD).
Results The poor quality of sleep was observed in 63.54% PD patients. They were difficulties in the initiation of sleep, light and fragmented sleep, sleep behavior disorders, excessive daytime sleepiness, restless legs syndrome in PD patients.
The rate of behavioral disorders was 91% in the disabled and 14% in the normal. The CBCL scores of behavioral factors in the disabled on introverted dimensions and the dimension of social flinch were obviously high. The total CBCL score was 64.74±12.95 in the disabled and 51.03±8.50 in the normal, which made a great difference(P<0.01).
Symptoms of REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) may precede the onset of motor and cognitive symptoms in these underlying neurological disorders.
A crossover 'placebo'-controlled, double-blind design was used to examine the effectiveness of an oligoantigenic diet in 49 children with hyperactive/disruptive behavior disorder.
Other factors that cause disturbances include a high prevalence of specific sleep disorders such as sleep disordered breathing (SDB), periodic limb movements during sleep (PLMS) and rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder (RBD).
Because dopamine agonists have a greater tendency to induce hallucinations and somnolence, levodopa is the treatment of choice for parkinsonism in DLB.?Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder (RBD) is now recognized as a feature of DLB.
Among the rapid eye movement (REM) sleep-related parasomnias, the most common and important disorder for which patients present is REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD).
EEG Correlates of Emotional Problems and Conduct Disorder in Schoolchildren
The relationships between EEG and the teachers' and parents' ratings of conduct disorder and emotional problems were studied in 20 schoolchildren between the ages of 9 to 13 years.
The relative spectral power of the γ band positively correlated with the intelligence and negatively, with the teachers' ratings of conduct disorder and hyperactivity.
The effects of maternal depression on child conduct disorder and attention deficit behaviours
Attention deficit disorder, depression and conduct disorder were the most common diagnoses in the parent interview, while anxiety disorder and depression were most common according to the child interview.
Some forms of behavior disorders such as drug addiction, alcoholism, and the sociopathies are strongly influenced by the sub-cultural system.
A logistic regression analysis was completed with respect to four groups of DSM-III-R diagnostic categories (Emotional Disorders, Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Specific Developmental Disorders, Non Specific Developmental Disorders).
AAPSS were more frequently found in children and adolescents with Emotional Disorders or Disruptive Behavior Disorders than in those with Developmental Disorders but there was no diagnostic specificity in the distribution of AAPSS.
Objective: The study examines effectiveness of home treatment in children and adolescents with severe externalizing behavior disorders.
The spectrum of rapid eye movement behavior disorders (RBD) spans various age groups, with the greatest prevalence in elderly men.
It describes the present and potential difficulties caused by the diversion of hopes for behavioral medicine to become a discipline wherein physicians treat those behavioral disorders which influence physical health.
A case of oculomandibular dyscephaly (Hallermann-Streiff syndrome) associated with severe oligophrenia and consequent behavioral disorders is reported.
Among the psychoactive drugs indicated for behavioral disorders, significant improvement in terms of both efficacy and tolerability can be expected from the use of new antipsychotic drugs.
Other prominent clinical features were an excessive startle response and behavioral disorders, such as anxiety and impatience.
Their neural substrates, such as limbic system and their relationship with postoperative behavioral disorders, are discussed.
