These patients were divided, according to prospective randomization, into two groups- 40 treated by high-energy electron beam betatron and the other 60 treated by 60Co. The two groups were similar with srespect of the ages, sexes, stages, irradiation fiels, dose time, factors, eel In order to compare the results, late sequelae and the causes of death were analyzed. The 3, 5, 8-year survival rates in the betatron group and in the 60Co group were 67.5%, 50% , 40% and 63% , 48.3% , 38.3% , respectively. There was no nstatistically significant difference between the survival rates of the two groupa The survival rates of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients treated by betatron were similar to those reported by other hospitals in this country. Among the late sequelae, the fibrosis of skin and the. difficulty in opening mouth were more obvious in high-energy electron beam group than those in the 60Co group. The principal cause of death of both groups was the recurrence of the pre-existed (including nasopharynx, cervical lymph node, and skull base), which resulted in higher incidence of death than the distant metastasis.

AIM: To investigate the level of endogenous hyaluronic acid (HA) and its effect on collagen synthesis in composite skin. METHODS: Frozen porcine allodermis with auto thin split thickness skin transplantation (Group CS) and auto thin split thickness skin transplantation (Group C) served as experimental groups, and normal skin (Group NS) served as control. Eight weeks after the grafting, type Ⅰand Ⅲ collagen, HA, hydroxyproline (HOP) and cellular DNA in various skin grafts were analyzed. RESULTS: The incidence of cicatricial formation and contraction in group CS was obviously lower than that in group C(χ 2, P <0.001), and the ratio of type Ⅲ to type Ⅰ collagen and the content of HA and HOP in group CS were obviously higher than those in group C ( t , P <0.01), but lower than group NS ( t , P <0.05). In addition, the content of cellular DNA in group CS was lower than that in group C but higher than that in group NS. CONCLUSION: Hyaluronic acid is abundant in CS. The ratio of HA in dermis to HA in epidermis and the ratio of typeⅠ to typeⅢ collagen in dermis could be used as a standard to estimate the degree of tissue fibrosis.

目的:了解复合皮组织中内源性透明质酸(HA)水平及其对胶原合成的影响.方法:以正常皮肤为对照(NS组),作冷冻异体乳猪真皮与自体表皮重组复合皮(CS组)和单纯自体表皮(C组)的移植实验,对移植8wk内的皮片组织进行Ⅲ/Ⅰ型胶原,HA,羟脯氨酸(HOP)和细胞DNA定量分析.结果:CS组皮片疤痕和挛缩的发生率明显低于C组(χ2,P<0.001),组织成熟早,HA和HOP含量及Ⅲ/Ⅰ型胶原比值明显高于C组(t,P<0.01),低于NS组(t,P<0.05),而细胞DNA含量则相反.结论:CS有较丰富的HA;真皮/表皮HA和真皮Ⅲ/Ⅰ型胶原比值的高低,可作为评价皮肤纤维化程度的指标.

Objective: To test the effect of matrine on platelet derived growth factor BB (PDGF BB) induced proliferation of mouse skin fibroblasts. Methods: Mouse skin fibroblasts were obtained from newborn ICR mice and propagated in vitro . Proliferation of cells was analyzed by mitochondrial reduction of tetrazolium salt MTT to formazan and actual cell count. Results: Matrine (50 250 μg/ml) caused reduction of serum driven cell growth dose dependently. Growth inhibition was totally reversed after removal of the drug. Matrine also produced inhibition of PDGF BB induced cell growth dose dependently. Conclusion: Matrine exhibits potent anti proliferation effect against mouse skin fibroblast. This effect appears to be mediated by a reduction of PDGF BB induced growth. These results suggest that matrine might have therapeutic implication in skin fibrosis. [

目的 :探讨苦参碱对血小板衍生生长因子 - BB(PDGF- BB)诱导的小鼠成纤维细胞增殖的影响。方法 :取新生 ICR小鼠皮肤细胞培养成纤维细胞。用四甲基偶氮唑盐 (MTT)法和细胞计数法分析细胞增殖情况。结果 :5 0~ 2 5 0 μg/ ml的苦参碱能剂量依赖地降低血清刺激的细胞增殖 ,撤除苦参碱后抑制作用能完全逆转。苦参碱 (10 0~ 5 0 0 μg/ ml)亦能剂量依赖地抑制PDGF- BB诱导的细胞增殖。结论 :苦参碱显示了很强的抗小鼠皮肤成纤维细胞增殖的作用 ,可能通过抑制 PDGF- BB诱导增殖作用来介导的。提示苦参碱可能对皮肤纤维化疾病有潜在的预防和治疗作用。
