随着教育部《面向21世纪教育振兴行动计划》全面启动,"现代远程教育工程"的实施是电大系统面临的一次机遇与挑战。进一步转变观念,深入研究远程教育规律,做好与开放性教育相适应的教学支持服务,探索远程开放教育模式,是电大工作者的重要课题。中央电大经济数学基础课程组在中央电大"以教学为中心,以教材建设为重点",做好开放性与教学现代化两大命题的思想指导下,建设了《经济数学基础》多种媒体一体化教材。尽管新到位的教材首次使用,效果尚未显现,在两年多的课程建设过程中,课程组真正经历了转变观念、提高认识的洗礼,对远程教育教学有了更多的体验与感悟。本期刊发的一组短文,是他们对课程建设的小结与思考,期望能对电大多种媒体一体化教材建设有借鉴作用,从而推动电大课程建设的进程,深化教学改革。

The prominent feature of quality education is to keep the foothold on the future and have one's eyes on the further development of the students. The profound connotation of quality education is to enable students to develop lively, vivaciously and actively. The cardinal objective of quality education is to promote people to develop in an all-roundway. This article raises the problem of course construction: The purpose of training is rather too sweeping and not set clarified enough. Too much attention is paid on subject system without appropriate consideration on practical application. Focus is overstressed on knowledge delivery without thinking about how to foster the capacity. Some teaching contents are too difficult or out-of-date. The varieties of courses are too unitary and the structure is always of closed-type. In view of all of that, proposals have been made in this article: RTVUs' reform in courses should base on the principles of objective, development, utilization and scientific management. In designing concrete subjects, course structure of special topic should be recommended on the basis of the actual demand from the students and the logic initial system of knowledge. The features should be convenient to learn and easy to choose. In this way, can we keep RTVUs' courses in a dynamic format to be perfected, developed, constructed and updated continuously.

立足未来,着眼于学生今后的发展是素质教育的显著特征。弘扬人的主体意识和主动精神,使学生生动、活泼、主动地发展是素质教育的深刻内涵。促进人的全面发展是素质教育的根本目的。本文提出了在课程建设中存在的主要问题:培养目标笼统、不够明确;重学科体系,轻实际应用;重知识传授,轻能力培养;教学内容偏深、偏难、陈旧老化,课程品种单一、结构封闭等。文章提出,电大课程改革应遵循针对性原则、发展性原则、实用性原则、科学性原则。在具体学科设计中,提倡以学生实际学习需要为依据,以知识的内在体系为逻辑的专题型课程结构。其特点为:便于自学、利于选择,使课程处于不断完善、发展、整合、更新的动态形式。
