The effect of selenium on the synthesis of nucleic acids in human am-nion cells and monkey kidey cells was studied by the techniques of cell culture and radioisotope assay. Rabbits accepted daily 20mg/kg sodium fluoride and 30mg/kg sodium tetraborate during a four or six month period Boron combined with fluoride forming tetrafluoroborate was excreted in urine so that the amount of fluoride accumulated in the kidney was decreased. The result showed that boron reduced the toxicity of fluoride chiefly by interacting with fluoride.

本文证实家兔同时摄入20mg/kg氟化钠和30mg/kg四硼酸钠4个月或6个月,硼可与氟结合形成氟硼酸根随尿排出,减少肾氟含量。表明硼可通过与氟相互作用,达到减轻氟毒性的目的。本文发现2.2mmol/L四硼酸钠在1~3小时内可降低6.0mmol/L氟化钠暴露下的WISH系人羊膜细胞和大鼠肾细胞内的氟含量,这可能是硼拮抗氟的细胞毒作用的重要途径之一。根据不同情况下培养细胞内和培养液中氟含量的测定结果,推测硼可直接降低细胞膜对氟离子的通透性,从而增加机体的耐氟力。
