The function of surfactant micellar and the relation between the molecular structures of surfactants and their effects on the fluorescent reactions were discussed. It is noted that only by the surfactants in the molecule of which the aromatic system is not charged or connected directly with a charged functional group can the fluorescent reactions be sensitized. With the sensitization of surfactant it is possible to develop some fluorometries of metals which are highly sensitive.

    The effect of anionic surfactant(sodium octyl sulphate)on the atomic absorption spectrometric behaviour of Cr was studied in an air-acetylene flame. It was found under definite condition that in the sodium octyl sulphate system there was a marked enhancement effect for the determination of Cr(Ⅲ), while no effect on the absorbance of Cr(Ⅳ).     The sensitization effect of various surfactants on the fluorimetric reaction of Ru(Ⅱ) and Phen was tested. SLS was found to b3 the best reagent. Optimum experimental conditions for the determination of trace Ru were established. EX wavelength of the Ru(Ⅱ)-Phen-SLS systen is 437.0 nm and EM wavelength is 617.0 nm while EM of the Ru(Ⅱ)-Phen system is 594.0 nm the determination limit is 0.4 ng/ml, and the concentration range of linearity response is 0.4 ng-2.0 μg/ml. Interferences of 19 ions were studied.

    在pH5.5—6.5的介质中Ru(Phen)_3~(2+)与十二烷基硫酸钠形成1:2的荧光配合物。其λex=437.0nm,λem=617`0nm。荧光法测定钌的检测限为0.4ng/ml,浓度范围是0.4ng国、—2.0μg/ml。用于合成试液中钌的测定相对标准偏差为5.6%(n=6)。
