Effects of injection retard on 13-mode weighted NO_x and particulates emissions and particulate composition were studied and results showed that when injection timing was retarded from 21° to 18° CA BTDC, 13-mode weighted brake specific emission of NO_x was decreased by 27.5% while particulate mass emission was increased by 9.1% with higher content of carbonaceous matter.
PM2.5 samples were collected at five sites of Beijing during summers and winters of 2001 and 2002 and spring of 2003.
