Based on space scanning results of ten seismological parameters, such as b-value, N- value, E-value, η-value, C-value, D-value, Seismless value, GL-value, R_m-value and so on, which are processed by CAPSeis software, a anomaly comprehensive decision method -- prediction method of seismological anomalyness (PMOSA) has been proposed.
Correlating variations of b values and crustal deformations during the 1990s may have pinpointed the rupture initiation of the Mw 7.4 Izmit earthquake of 1999 August 17
The b values are smaller (0. 67, 0. 78) in higher velocity areas of Beijing,Tianjin and Bobal Sea, but larger (0. 85, 0. gi ) in the lower velocity areas of Jiliao andjidong.
3 The analysis of deviation for the frequency of mean value (b= p(x≥x)) ; 4 The type Ⅱ multiplication distribution (X—Ⅱ) has been established for the value b to combine with multiplication theorem of probability—a simple distribution of three parameters. It will apply to all the streams.
Found 13 earth resistivity anomalies were observed by 7 geoelectric stations that come from 32 indexs were tested by 12 geoelectric stations, at the same time, there have medium-term, short-term anomalies on the earthquake frequency, C value, b value, GL value and η value before the yumen M\-S5.9 earthquake.
We also studied such characteristic parameters as value b,u,h,ρ in early days of the sequence and in the whole sequence. We found value b and u had reference value to the early determination of earthquake sequence types.
It is thought that the high density anomaly observed in every sub-area has a certain relation with value b in time and a good correspondence to the activity of moderately strong earthquakes in the area;
It is customary to characterize the amplitude distributions of acoustic emission signals in terms of the b value (the slope of the differential amplitude distribution).
A correct interpretation of the decrease in the b value is only possible if the location of the sources in space is accomplished and a correction for the spread and attenuation of elastic waves is introduced.
It is divided into 5 kinds of regions on the basis of analyzing the earthquake's annual average rate ofM?6,b-value and the maximum magnitude in history in those provinces.
b-value shows precursory decrease in the weakening stage when fault behavior is abrupt instability, but it shows balanced change when fault behavior is gradual failure.
The mean a and b values can be used to estimate Tb of an arbitrary organic compound from Tb for one preceding homologue with an accuracy not inferior to that provided by the modern ACD software.
As fluctuation strength(Z) were higher and bending rigidity (B) values lower, the fabrics tended to be perceived as sounding softer, which resulted in increase of PV changes.
A jumplike exciton-magnetoexciton "phase" transition is observed upon an increase in the momentum in fields B weaker than a certain value B>amp;lt;Btr1.
