Stability constants of anti-2-hydroxy-5-isoamyl-benzophenoxime extractantswith proton,copper (Ⅱ),iron (Ⅲ),cobalt (Ⅱ),nickel(Ⅱ),zinc (Ⅱ) were determinedby using the Bjerrum-Calvin pH titration technique.The measurements were carriedout at 35±0. 1℃ in 3:1 dioxane:water at constant ionic strength (0. 1M KNO_3) .Stability constants of anti-2-hydroxy-3-sec-butyl-benzophenoxime and anti-2-hydrozy-5-sev-butyl-benzophenoxime extractants with proton,copper(Ⅱ)were alsoobtained.

The stability of complex compounds formed from N-(para-substitutedphenyl) glycines(R—(?)—NHCH_2COOH, R=CH_3O, CH_3, NO_2, Cl, H) with copper (Ⅱ),nickel (Ⅱ) and zinc(Ⅱ) has been investigated. The stepwise formation oonstants of these complexes were determined by pH method at 25℃ in 30% (volume) ethanol solution in presence of 0.10 M NaClQi. It was found that some linear free energy relationships exist between the stability of the complex compounds and the basic strengths of the ligands, which may be represented...

The stability of complex compounds formed from N-(para-substitutedphenyl) glycines(R—(?)—NHCH_2COOH, R=CH_3O, CH_3, NO_2, Cl, H) with copper (Ⅱ),nickel (Ⅱ) and zinc(Ⅱ) has been investigated. The stepwise formation oonstants of these complexes were determined by pH method at 25℃ in 30% (volume) ethanol solution in presence of 0.10 M NaClQi. It was found that some linear free energy relationships exist between the stability of the complex compounds and the basic strengths of the ligands, which may be represented by the following equation: k = CK~(-β), where k is the stability constant of the complex compound and K the dissociation constant of the ligand, and G and β are constants. These relationships are valid under the conditions that only electrostatic effeots are present in the system investigated while other factors such as steric or entropy effect are to be exoluded. The effect of lowering dielectric constant of the solvent on the stability of the complex compounds was reflected by the fact that the complexes are more stable in 30% ethanol solution than in water. The order of stability of the complex compounds formed by a given ligand with Cu(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) conforms to the Irving order.

在25℃及0.10M高氯酸钠存在下,用pH法测定N-(对位取代苯基)氨基乙酸与铜(Ⅱ)、镍(Ⅱ)、锌(Ⅱ在30%(体积)乙醇溶液中的逐级生成常数。实验结果表明,当无空间效应或熵效应存在而只有电子效应存在时,此等络合物的稳定性与其配位体的碱性强度之间存在直线自由能关系,可定量地用方程式k=CK~(-β)表示。配位体的碱性强度与Hammett方程的σ参数具有相似的性质。降低溶液的介电常数有利于络合物的生成。
