The test results showed that with nozzles level h was 115 mm and 140 mm and with jetting angle 115.6° and 115.1°,the effective jetting range d for water nozzle 3/8PZ10.6-120PG respectively was 365 mm and 440 mm.
With an arrangement where two low pressure swirling flow atomizing water nozzles are facing one another, keeping the water pressure at the nozzle's entrance between 0.2MPa～0.4MPa and the water to gas ratio between 0.1L/m 3～0.2L/m 3, the fog homegeneity at the throat and the dust removal efficiency can both be remarkably improved.
The dust removal efficiency will be increased greatly accompanying water & energy savings and desulphurization effect when a proper combination of the low pressure cyclone atomizing water nozzles can ensure that a water pressure at the inlet of the nozzle is 0.2～0.4MPa and a liquid /gas ratio is 0.1～0.2L/m 3.
