The author, observing the requirement for programming a computer, presents three methods to calculate the compressibility of natural gas which are in the order of Peдлих-Квонг, Hall-Yarborough, Robinson. By comparison with Standing-Katz's Diagram, Hall-Yarborough and Robinson are prefered in calculating the pressibility of natural gas.

Accurate calculation of natural gas compressibility(Z) is of great significance. For the natural gas containing a little non-hydrocarbon, the absolute mean deviation made by S-K graphic solution is 3%, lower in accuracy than those made in some other ways. Accurate calculation of natural gas compressibility(Z) is of great significance. Here dealt with in the article are guite a few methods to calculate the compressibility that have been raised over since 1940s, and the comments on them respectively. For the natural gas containing a little non-hydrocarbon, the absolute mean deviation made by S-K graphic solution is 3%, lower in accuracy than those made in some other ways. With the wide application of electronic computing techinique, the methods for calculation of (Z) with state equations are quickly developing, of which R-K equation is more frequently used, which is of high accuracy in the case of the natural gas containing little non-hydrocarbon or heavy hydrocarbon. In the case of the natural gas with more CO2 and H2S, such methods as mentioned above may be satisfactory if proved via critical temperature.

天然气压缩系数(Z)的计算精度的高低是很重要的。文中介绍了40年代以来所提出的压缩系数的多种计算方法,并作出评价。对于非烃类气体含量不高的天然气,用S—K图算法计算的绝对平均偏差值约为3%;而用偏心因子法和EMR法的准确度均比S—K图算法高,但其计算过程较麻烦。随着电算技术的广泛应用,以状态方程呈计算Z的方法发展很快,其中尤以R—K方程使用较多,对非烃类组分和重烃含量不高的天然气,它可达到很高的准确度。对CO_2和H_2S含量较高的天然气,在使用上述各种方法计算时,可采用临介温度较正法校正,也可得到满意的结果。
