In order to identify the optimum cutting density for producing the highest number of plantable seedlings of poplar clones, a split-plot randomized block design was used to establish four cutting densities in plots.
      
Results indicated that the leaf area, stem and leaf biomass, and caliper of seedlings of all four poplar clones increased with the decrease in cutting density.
      
The quantity of first-grade seedlings (grade I) for clones Nanlin-95 and Nanlin-895 was achieved at the spacing of 40 cm×50 cm; for NL-1388 and NL-80351, it was 50 cm×50 cm.

But in our further experiments similar results were obtained with the above mentioned medium devoid of the growth substance. In the medium of potato juice with the addition of 0.5 ppm IBA the in vitro induced shoots derived from the hypocotyl and from the base of the cotyledon of the young embryos formed roots and eventually developed into the whole plantlets. This result may provide a practical method for overcoming the sterility at the young embryo stage as commonly occured in cross breeding of the pomological and the cereal plants and for the asexual multiplication of the clones of these cultivated plants.

本文报道利用粳型杂交水稻苗端诱导形成的愈伤组织进行悬液培养试验,获得了初步成功。试验系采用MS 和N_6基本培养液,另加2,4-D 1—2毫克/升,IAA0.5毫克/升,水解乳蛋白500毫克/升,蔗糖3%。结果均能生长。当愈伤组织生长至直径2—3毫米大小时,将其转移到固体再分化培养基上,使其再生形成绿苗。再分化培养基为MS 或N_6基本培养基另加激动素2毫克/升,6-BA 1毫克/升,水解乳蛋白800毫克/升,蔗糖3%以及琼脂1%。经过了多次悬液继代培养以后,发现在各个“愈伤无性系”之间,于细胞形态和器官分化方面,均发生了各种各样的变异。本试验的目的,在于探索能否为利用悬液培养方法保持杂交水稻的杂种优势以及进行工厂化生产秧苗开辟道路。

But as the temperature in the daytime becomes normal again, with a difference of about 17 ℃, an irreversible drop of bound water in the plant appeared,Thus the protoplasm lost water and symptoms of injury appeared.In cases of severe desiccation, the tissue or organ of the plant wilted and died.The process of chilling injury in fact runs arallel to the process of water loss by the plant.

橡胶树北移至亚热带地区,冬季易受零上低温寒害。本研究表明:无性系及实生树叶片束缚水含量高者抗寒性强、低者为较弱。束缚水随温度降升而发生变化,自然降温至3℃,先引起剧烈升降波动,随着气温回升、日温差达到17℃,束缚水又不可逆地下降,使原生质脱水,呈现伤害。重害时会导致局部器官组织的干枯死亡。寒害变化过程也是失水反应的过程。本文以束缚水与总水量比值率作为越冬性检验指标,它与植株年龄、无性系及实生树的抗寒性关系极为密切。
