In general,the artificial tripjoid of mulberry is obtained by hybridization between tetraploid and diploid. the tetraploid of clonal varieties could be induced by gammar ray irradiation of the swelling or dormant buts with the dose of about 5,000 Rad and by the colchicine treatment of the concentration about 0.2%, amony which the most efficient is that 0.2% colchicine solution prepared with 2 ppm BA is injected into swelling buds. In the two hybridized combinations for triploid, the germinating ability of the hybrid seeds from the 4x×2x is quite poor. The seeds could increase the germinating percentage by means of the refrigerating at 2℃ over 7 days. The artificial triploid also might be obtained by a cross between diploid female and diploid male gamete doubled by the treatment of 0.05-0.1% colchicine prtpared with 2 ppm BA solution once a day lasting 7-10 days.

Technical procedures for inducing tetraploids by colchicine treatment of M. atropurpurea seedlings ware established.By selecting from the four ecolgical types at the nursery stage,the inducing ratio could be increased 33%,the high yielding and good quality materials selected could be increased 83% over that of the normal methods.Through studies on their main agronomic characters,a group of plasmic resources with good quality,high yielding and seeding ability was selected.These tetraploids were superior to those induced from asexual system of Morse alba,Morus bombycis and Morus muticaulis,which are slow growing yieldin and of poor seeding ability.By using these tetraploids as parental stocks for crossing,7 hybrid combinations have been bred, which are nameky Yuesang No. 1 to No.7. Their characters are briefly described. They have been provided for assessment in demonstrative production:tnd regional comparative test of new mulberry variieties inthe province. The practial utilization of the tetraploid hybrid combinations is being hfther studied.

普查了广东桑(MorusatropurpureaRoxb.)324份材料染色体数,获得三倍体桑15份;建立了应用秋水仙素处理广东桑杂种实生苗(有性系)诱导四倍体的技术程序,提出“苗期选择法”,从4个生态型中选择,可提高诱导率1.33倍,选出的高产、优质材料也提高1.83倍;研究了其主要性状,选出具有优质、高产、种子量多的种质资源一批,克服了从白桑、山桑、鲁桑等桑种的无性系获得的四倍体桑生长缓慢、生产量少、孕性差等缺点。利用四倍体桑为亲本,初步育成优良三倍体杂交组合7个,定名粤桑1号至7号,简介其性状,提供生产鉴定、示范及参加广东省桑树新品种区域性试验;并探索四倍体桑杂交组合的实用性。

It was found that some mulberry artificial tetraploids induced from hybrid seedlings had higher leaf yielding potential by author's study. Two categories of parent materials and techniques were adopted for induction of tetraploids:(1)about 0.2% colchicine solution prepared with 2 mg/kg 6 BA was injected into the swelling bud or growing cone of clonal variety shoots once a day for 3-4 d,and (2) the same solution was applied to the growing portion of a young seedling at the cotyledon expanding stage once a day for 3-5 d.The tetraploid shoots were perpetuated by grafting.The results showed that the leaf yield of induced tetraploids from two group was very different. The average annual leaf output of 2 years old trees was:(1) 10 49 kg/10 plants in first group of the tetraploids induced from 12 clonal varieties (mainly leading and local var.in the province);and (2) 24 94 kg/10 plants in 2nd group of the tetraploid induced from young hybrid seedlings.The leaf yield existed a great significant difference between them.The main reason of which was the great difference of branch length per plant between two groups.It is suggested that the reason of high yielding in 2nd group may be the heterosis existence in the parent materials of hybrid seedling.

研究表明,从杂种实生苗诱导的一些桑人工四倍体往往具有高产性状。用下列两种亲本材料及方法诱导四倍体:(1)用2mg/kg6BA配制的02%秋水仙碱溶液注射到无性系品种的膨芽或生长锥中,每天一次,3~4d;(2)用同样的溶液在杂交实生幼苗子叶展开期滴生长锥,每天一次,持续3~5d。上述两种不同亲本材料和方法诱导的四倍体产叶量有很大的差异:(1)第一组由12个地方品种无性系诱导的四倍体的平均年产叶量每10株为1049kg;(2)第二组由12个杂种幼苗诱导的四倍体的平均年产叶量每10株为2492kg。两处理差异极显著。而产叶量的显著差异主要由两处理桑树发条性能,即株条长度的极显著差异引起的。
